Service Details
- Only automobile physical damage assignments are eligible for the Same-Day and Next-Day Service estimates.
- Alacrity reserves the right to determine whether an assignment is eligible for Same‑Day or Next‑Day Service, pursuant to its then current terms of service.
- By selecting Same‑Day or Next‑Day Service, the client agrees that he/she has verified the accuracy of the claimant’s contact and vehicle location information.
- By selecting Same‑Day or Next‑Day Service, the client agrees to pay all applicable fees, including the base service price plus any applicable mileage charges to/from the vehicle location. No miles included.
- Same‑Day Service assignments are guaranteed to be delivered to the client by 5 p.m. local time of the day they are assigned, or the client will not be charged for the damage estimate.
- Next‑Day Service assignments are guaranteed to be delivered to the client by 5 p.m. local time of the next business day after they are assigned, or the client will not be charged for the damage estimate.
- An attempted appraisal on or before the guaranteed delivery time meets the Same‑Day and Next‑Day Service guarantee, and the estimate is still billable at the agreed upon price.
- An offer by an appraiser to estimate a vehicle on or before the guaranteed delivery time meets our Same‑Day and Next‑Day service guarantee, and the estimate is still billable at the agreed upon price.
- Same‑Day and Next‑Day Service is not available in all locations and markets. Only select offices, as determined by Alacrity, are eligible to complete Same‑ Day and Next‑Day assignments
- Same‑Day Service is available on applicable assignments within a 25 mile radius of the local Alacrity office city center.
- Next‑Day Service is available on applicable assignments within a 50 mile radius of the local Alacrity office city center.
- Same‑Day and Next‑Day Service guarantees do not apply if the promised delivery time is missed due (1) to an unforeseen circumstance outside of our control, such as a natural disaster or severe storm OR (2) claimant provided inaccurate information OR (3) claimant is not available when an appraiser arrives at the vehicle location
- Base Pricing: Total estimate fee includes the base price, plus an estimated mileage fee of $1.32 per mile. Base pricing for Same‑Day and Next‑Day Service includes the estimate, as well as any supplements and total losses.
- Heavy equipment qualifies for 24‑hour inspection.
- Photos and an inspection summary are guaranteed as part of the Specialty/Heavy Equipment Same‑Day Service guarantee, a complete estimate will be provided when possible.
- Alacrity reserves the right to determine whether an assignment is eligible for 24‑hour inspection, pursuant to its then current terms of service.
- By selecting Specialty/Heavy Equipment Same‑Day Service, the client agrees that he/she has verified the accuracy of the claimant’s contact and heavy equipment location information.
- By selecting Specialty/Heavy Equipment Same‑Day Service, the client agrees to pay all applicable fees, including the inspection service price plus time and expenses and any applicable mileage charges to/from the heavy equipment location. No miles are included.
- Specialty/Heavy Equipment Same‑Day Service assignments are guaranteed to deliver photos and an inspection report to the client within 24 hours local time of the next business day after assigned, or the client will not be charged the inspection fee. All other charges would apply.
- Calculations are based on business days and time zone of the handling office.
- When a Specialty/Heavy Equipment Same‑Day Service assignment is not received on a business day, the guaranteed inspection time will begin at 8:00 AM local time on the first business day immediately following receipt of the assignment.
- An attempted inspection on or before the guaranteed inspection time meets the Specialty/Heavy Equipment Same‑Day Service guarantee, and the inspection and estimate is still billable at the agreed upon price.
- An offer by an appraiser to inspect the heavy equipment on or before the guaranteed inspection time meets our Specialty/Heavy Equipment Same‑Day Service guarantee, and the inspection and estimate is still billable at the agreed upon price.
- Specialty/Heavy Equipment Same‑Day Service is not available in all locations and markets. Only select offices, as determined by Alacrity, are eligible to complete Specialty/Heavy Equipment Same‑Day Service assignments
- Specialty/Heavy Equipment Same‑Day Service is available on applicable assignments within a 150 mile radius of the local Alacrity office city center.
- Specialty/Heavy Equipment Same‑Day Service guarantees do not apply if the promised inspection time is missed due (1) to an unforeseen circumstance outside of our control, such as a natural disaster or severe storm OR (2) claimant provided inaccurate information OR (3) claimant is not available when an appraiser arrives at the heavy equipment location OR (4) the heavy equipment is not made available for our inspection and/or inspection is prohibited.
